How does hunger work with those who’s nutritional needs are met but can’t eat orally?

I have already touched the surface of this subject in my essay on my ‘Advice & Thoughts’ page titled, “My Thoughts On the Mechanics Behind Long Term Psychological Hunger” where I briefly touch the subject of hedonic hunger.

- Is hedonic hunger the likely culprit for this “hunger” while on parenteral nutrition?

-Why is hunger an issue when caloric needs are met?
